Fast-rising UK rockers Eva Plays Dead are proud to announce their new EP Sounds of the Written Word, out July 17 via via SoundHub Records. The antidote to all things pretentious and self-indulgent, the new EP from the Midlands band is a monument to no-nonsense rock with attitude.
Raucous, raw, packed full of huge riffs and topped off by frontwoman Tiggy Dee’s thunderous vocals, this is back-to-basics rock at its best. Classic styles combine with modern production to create an irresistible sound that looks both forward and backwards. Darker and punchier than their previous work, Sounds of the Written Word sees Eva Plays Dead return with a honed sound, bigger and better.
Citing influences as diverse as The Dirty Youth, LostAlone, Marmozets, Joan Jett & QOTSA, Eva Plays Dead are a young band with an impressive history. Notably supporting We Are The Ocean (May 2015), LostAlone, Max Raptor, Canterbury, the band have also played Hit the Deck 2014, YNot 2013 and sold out Nottingham’s Rock City. Catch the band as they play a mini-tour in celebration of the EP release:

19/07: Fuel, Cardiff
