Amorphis en Eluveitie kondigen samen Europese tour aan

Het kan en mag allemaal weer en de tijd is daarom voor Amorphis en Eluveitie rijp om samen een flinke Europese tour te gaan ondernemen die start in november 2022.
Amorphis bestaat al ruim dertig jaar en de Finse melancholische metallers hebben kort geleden nog een mooi hoofdstuk toegevoegd aan hun al omvangrijke discografie met het uitmuntende album Halo. Een album dat wederom de hoogste notering haalde in de Finse albumchart en ook in Duitsland hoge ogen gooide met een derde plaats. Nog altijd is de band een inspiratie voor velen met hun eigen geluid.
Gitarist Tomi Koivusaari van Amorphis zegt: “Halo! We are thrilled to announce our co-headlining European tour with the mighty Eluveitie. We’ve just released our 14th album Halo and we can’t wait to play it and of course stuff from our whole career live for you. Don’t miss this, there also might be some more pleasant surprises to the line up later on… ”
Eluveitie kan gezien worden als een ander fenomeen dat met de albums Spirit, Slania en Ategnoatos baanbrekend werk heeft verricht in hun eigen genre. De mix van folk- en deathmetal heeft hen geen windeieren gelegd.
Zanger/frontman Chrigel Glanzmann hierover: “It hasn’t exactly become lighter in this world lately.Nonetheless there are still pleasant and joyful news. We cannot wait to finally start touring again after more than two really weird years. It feels unreal almost! As if this isn’t enough we’re super stoked to announce the line-up of this tour – definitely one of the coolest tour line-up’s in our entire career. Being on the road together with dear friends and some of our personal all-time favorite bands – that’s really just more than I expected! We can’t wait to see you all again!”
Tijdens de tour zullen er nog een aantal special guests worden toegevoegd. Deze worden later bekend gemaakt.
