Metal grootheden Cradle of Filth komen terug naar Patronaat! 22 september brengt de Britse band het nieuwe album ‘Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay’ uit. De hier op volgende tour brengt ze op 2 februari 2018 naar Haarlem, samen met dark metal legendes Moonspell!
Het album is alweer het 12e studio-album voor Cradle of Filth. Dani Filth en consorten startten ooit als blackmetal band, en is door de jaren heen steeds theatraler geworden met veel gothic en horrorelementen. Over het nieuwe album: “This album represents an onwards and upwards drive for the band, building on the success of »Hammer Of The Witches« and pushing further with the venomous musicology to create something that is both unique and loyal to our previous incarnations,” aldus Dani Filth. “We mutate, breed and run totally amok with this album. Plus we covered ‘Alison Hell’ by ANNIHILATOR, a thrash metal classic that has been on our proverbial lips for centuries!”
