Op 18 november brengt Soen de liveregistratie Atlantis uit. Het is een speciale concertfilm waarin de band de dertien meest populaire composities opnieuw heeft gearrangeerd en opgenomen met een orkest van acht klassieke muzikanten. De eerste single Trials is enige tijd geleden al uitgebracht en nu is het de tijd voor de enige cover op het album, namelijk Snuff van Slipknot, maar dan in een versie die bij Soen past.
“We wanted to do something extra special during the ATLANTIS concert. The obvious path would have been to pick an epic progressive song from the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd etc. Instead, we went for the opposite with ‘Snuff’, a scaled down and brutally honest song that we all love in its powerful sincerity.”
De band heeft net de Europese tour afgerond en staan aan de vooravond van de Noord-Amerikaanse tour.
Drummer Martin Lopez zegt daarover: “It’s a dream come true to finally be able to do an extensive North American tour. It’s a milestone for any band to tour acontinent with such a rich musical history and we are very excited about finally getting to meet our North American audience. See you all there!”
