De melodic/power-metal band THEOCRACY keert in 2027 terug naar Europa voor de “Grand Mosaic Tour 2027”. De Amerikanen trappen hun nieuwe Europese tour op vrijdag 5 maart af in poppodium Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen. Naast Nederland doet Theocracy België, Frankrijk, Duitsland en Zwitserland aan.
Theocracy heeft altijd veel succes gehad in Europa, en dat is met het laatste album “Mosaic” niet anders. Het album verscheen bij ATOMIC FIRE (nu REIGNING PHOENIX MUSIC), waarna de band enkele festivals – waaronder EPIC FEST – in Europa speelde. De nieuwe tournee zal in het teken staan van “Mosaic”, maar ook komen de klassiekers van eerdere albums voorbij.
Hoewel Theocracy regelmatig in Europa heeft gespeeld, was de band niet eerder te zien in zowel België als Frankrijk. De band wilde dit keer deze landen graag meepakken, om de groeiende fanschare daar te bedienen. In België speelt Theocracy in DVG Club in Kortrijk, en in Frankrijk wordt een exclusieve show in Parijs gedaan.

Als special guest komt de progressive metalband SUNBURST deze tour mee, met in de gelederen gitarist Gus Drax (ex-SUICIDAL ANGELS). De Grieken hebben twee succesvolle albums op hun naam staan, waarvan vooral het laatste album “Manifesto” (INNERWOUND RECORDINGS) internationaal hoge ogen gooide.
Gus Drax reageert: ,,It’s been already some years since our last mini tour, so this one feels like our first European tour ever. The fact that it’s going to happen alongside our good friends Theocracy and Signum Regis makes it even more special and something we can’t wait for. Support-act is de Slowaakse power-metal band SIGNUM REGIS, waarvan op 9 oktober het nieuwe album “Beyond Spacetime” verschijnt via FIREFLASH RECORDS. Op dat album vervult Theocracy-zanger Matt Smith een gastrol. Signum Regis tourde de afgelopen jaren met regelmaat door Europa en wist daarmee een solide fanbase te creëren.
