Astral Gates is inmiddels geen onbekende meer bij Rockportaal. De band uit Canada zet steeds geraffineerde rockmuziek uit en het lukt ze telkens om de aandacht te krijgen. Zo ook met de nieuwe single Behave.
“Behave” is about a woman who always gets what she wants. Using her charms, she takes complete control of every aspect of her mind and body in an expression of pure feministic freedom. There is nothing this femme fatale won’t do in this tale of female empowerment that seamlessly weaves itself within the hypnotic tone of “Behave.”

Arising Empire heeft met de nieuwe band Thrown weer een sterke troef in handen. Het viertal uit Zweden, aangevoerd door ex-Grievedzanger Marcus Lundqvist heeft de eerste single grayout online gezet.

Jupiter Hollow
Jupiter Hollow is een eigenzinnig tweetal uit Canada dat doet waar ze zin in heeft en met succes albums aflevert en afgelopen zomer diverse gratis streamoptredens gaf. Ze hebben nu weer nieuwe muziek die ik je graag onder de aandacht breng.
The song from our latest album, “Scarden Valley” might be one of the most raw and emotional songs we’ve ever written. As much as we love writing the crazy prog songs – it’s extremely important to us to express other sides of the musical pallet such as this song. As you likely know, we don’t care for the idea of genre, so there’s no rules preventing us from releasing a death metal song one day and a “rock ballad” the next.
I know not everyone is into lighter rock…but for the people who relate to them – myself included – songs like this mean the WORLD.
